“Can Someone Be A Christian And A Homosexual?”

Bishop Gene Robinson on his wedding day with his now divorced partner: Mark Andrews.
Finally, I have found time to answer this question, albeit, it is better late than never. Perhaps the question should read, “Can one be a sinner and a Christian?” By homosexual here we mean both lesbians and gays. I will use strictly the Bible to answer this question. If you do not like my answer, write yours, and I will post it on this very blog. The first thing is to define both words and then examine their operations in the Bible.
Homosexuality is like a hobby. You decide to learn it. In this case, you use your body in the unnatural way possible. While the word Christians (standing for little christs or people mimicking Christ) exists in the Bible, homosexuality on the other hand does not. Nonetheless, the Bible mentions same sex rape and same sex coitus as serious violations. People always ask me, “If the Bible does not mention homosexuality, how then do you know that it is talking about it?”
There are different ways to use words and project meaning, and one of them is euphemism. The expression, “that we may know them” in Genesis 19:5 is euphemistic usage for having sex. Remember, the men only were the ones who wanted to have sex with Lot’s male visitors.  Jude (verse 7) on the other hand uses another expression, “strange flesh” which is euphemistic usage for another man. In other words, having a strange desire of going after other men. That indeed is very strange! Don’t you think so?
In the OT, the Bible openly condemns same gender sex; that is, a man having sex with a man and that will indirectly apply to a woman having sex with another woman too. The Bible calls it abomination (Lev 18:22; 20:13). The word abomination will simply mean a violation of customs and traditions of righteous living set by God. The direct consequence of committing an abomination is the judgment or wrath of God. I want you to take note that it was under Judaism. If we are to abide by the OT and Judaism, then Christ died in vain. However, not so fast; you should hold your fire!Furthermore, in the NT, it is Paul who mentions same sex marriage which will correspond to what we call today, homosexuality in the following passages (Rom. 1:26-27; I Cor. 6-9-10; I Tim. 1; 9-10).
Jesus modified Judaism into Christianity by pointing to himself as the Messiah, the Jews were waiting. He then introduced the new covenant whereby he involved the Gentiles into the salvific plan of God.
carved a path of salvation through Himself by his death on the cross and his blood as the ablution solution.
Therefore, while it is possible for a homosexual to be a Christian, it will be no different from someone who is a Christian, but he or she is living in concubinage. It is like those who say that they are Christians, but they are scamming people or they are racist. To be a Christian, you only have to believe in Him and pledge to mimic Him. It is not everyone everyone who claims that they are Christians will go to heaven. The ultimate reason and place those who believe want to be. ad student. They are Christians, but they are bad Christians, “who hath trodden underfoot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?” They are no different from those who practice concubinage or those who are racists although wearing the cloak of Christianity. When the Judgment of God shall start in the house of God, they will be the goats that will be separated from the sheep and will be those to whom the Lord will say, “I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.”
Notwithstanding, while still waiting for our parousia, it is the responsibility of Christians to show love, by warning the wicked and the righteous to turn away from wickedness.

Until then, I hope that I have answered your question.

Mass Shootings In America Will Only Increase.

On March 24, 2014, 22-year-old Elliot Oliver Robertson Rodger of Isla Vista shot and killed 7 people and wounded 6 others because he could not deal with women rejecting him. The deadliest American school shooting took place in 2007 when Seung-Hui Cho went on a shooting rampage, killing 32 people at the University of Virginia Tech because women rejected him. Back then, the authorities found a motive. Did that prevent the one we just heard now? In 2012, Adam Lanza killed 20 children and six adults, and the authorities again went into study mode to figure out the motive, so they could prevent future mass shootings. Every time there is a mass shooting, the authorities always jump in to ask the motive. They resemble the, “captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.” (2 Tim 3:6-7).With a motive or no motive, the heart of man is deceitful and desperately wicked. Why is it that a child can steal a cookie but not $2 million? She can see the cookie, but she cannot see 2 millions. If she could see 2 millions and she can carry all at once, she will do that. I always try to place myself in the position of those who have lost loved ones. Should they have lost them now? Why can’t the authorities stop mass shootings despite having seen many? They can learn all they want, but they will never succeed, except they come to the knowledge of truth.

In April 24, 2014, Christopher Plaskon stabbed Maren Sanchez to death on the hallway of their school: Jonathan Law High School because she refused to be his prom date. One can easily point to that as a motive, yet that is not the leitmotif. It is his inability to accept rejection that caused him to murder.
We are living in a society where it is insensitive to tell people the truth to their face for fear of hurting their feelings, so many have grown to think that everything must go their way. Many young boys and girls do not know that they can be rejected. Many think that due to their beauty, smartness, opulence and popularity everyone must go with what they say and want. A child who is well brought up will know that men undergo a lot of rejection, no matter their social status. That happens so because it is generally the man who makes the move to woo a woman. If women were making or when they make the first move, they experience as much rejection as their male counterparts. Consequently, the problem here is the inability to deal with rejection and failure.

On May 3, 2010, Amanda Hess published an article about a fox 5 News report that showed a young woman who was shot on the ankle for refusing to give her phone number to a stranger. Both the victim and assailant contributed to the situation. The woman could have given him the number and then block it or report him for harassment if he persisted in calling her when she had banned him from doing so. Refusing to give him was jeopardizing her life. She did not have to fight that battle! We are neither endorsing the violent nature of the man nor are we approving his behavior. The assailant should have known that a woman has two answers to give him: yes, he hangs around and no, he continues to other women until he finds the one who will accept him. Hellas, we are in a society where rights triumph over common sense.

A few years ago, a male student told me how he approached a female classmate to go to prom with him. She turned him down, but she did not leave it there. She propagated how she turned him down, and the young man was furious. The fault again is on both sides. If you turn a man down, do not make him feel worthless. If a woman turns you down, it is not the end of the world. If parents will sit down and talk with their children, these shootings will greatly reduce.  How then can they benefit from the family when there is a familyquake? Divorce here and divorce there, and no marriage is standing upright anymore. Kids are left to fend for their own tutelage. Complicating matters again is the culture of guns.

I had used the analogy of the kid stealing cookies and was unable to steal 2 million. It is not because she cannot; it is because she does not see the money. What she can easily see are cookies. That is why she steals them! The culture of guns has made killing easier for these young people. We can blame the young man all we want and say how wicked he is, but had he had a good family structure, where kids sit and express their feelings, his parents would have taught him on how to handle rejection. Many young people do not know how to handle rejection. Sometimes, even adults do not know how to handle rejection. Nowadays, we must be politically, religiously and socially correct so that we do not offend others.

One day, I told the students that, "It is important to watch your weight by selecting what you eat and drink and make sure you exercise." A young obese girl stood up and asked me, “Are you calling us fat? If not, why are you telling us about our weight?” Another student said, “He did not say anyone is fat; he is saying that we should not eat what will make us fat.. You all should chill!” If a child at that age already has those itchy ears that make her want to hear only feel-good things, even when she is going into the abyss, then what do you expect when she is in a position of power? Everyone wants to live their lives at the expense of others. Such a child is not ready to deal with rejection.

The young people are not taught at home on how to approach life’s trials, failures and disappointments. That is why suicide is increasing amongst them today. They are also not prepared in school as many schools think that everything towards building character is religion. Many kids lack a favorable self-esteem. They do not know how to deal with rejection.

A boy asked me one day in private if I had ever been rejected by a girl. I told him that I will not answer him in private. I will like for him to ask the question in front of the whole class. I wanted the entire class to benefit from the lesson and to know that women have rejected me a lot, and I have rejected them too. The boys were shocked and asked me what I did. “Did you beat her up? Did you curse her out? One asked me. “I will tell that bit..h to go fu.k herself.” His male classmate echoed. I realized how many young boys think that every woman they speak to must go out with them. It also showed that those kids were not ready to deal with rejection. I told them that it was normal to be rejected, and we should not overladen ourselves because a lady or man rejected us.

Another student asked me one time, “Mr. Ayuk is anything wrong with me?” I asked him why. He told me that, “Every girl I speak to, rejects me.” I laughed and undertook a self-esteem building project to let him know that he must feel good about himself. and know that it will always happen. In so far as a man approaches women, there are some who will reject him.

These are lessons he should have learnt from his parents that it is ok to be rejected. No matter how rich, smart, beautiful or popular we are, it is not everyone who will accept us. Although guns are a part of this killing culture, the inability to deal with failures and rejections is the main culprit. Look, there is no mass murderer who did not have a character deficiency. The time has come to invest in raising up young people to be ready at the attacks of life. They should be ready to fight against everything that life throws at them. Except we do that, we will keep learning to find out the motives without coming to the knowledge of truth. If Elliot Oliver Robertson Rodger was taught that, he would not have killed these people. With the money he bought the ammunition, he would have gone to Eastern Europe and picked up a bevy of Ukrainian beauties at Red Districts across Europe.

Until then, it is high time for education to target the mind and the heart too.

How Does God Want US to Eat? Part 2.

Spiritual health: Carpe Diem vs The Hope of Glory.
During this time of post modernism, we are experiencing a societal detachment and more individual human centered. Finding the meaning and purpose of life has been very elusive. Many have divorced from their emotions, probity and decorum, and they are more attached to existentialist values, skepticism and reason based. We must come to a point where the wisdom of God is wisdom and not foolishness to the world. There is now more or less communication between supernatural and the natural. Instead we live segmented and defragmented lives away from God. We see the belief in Karma and Samsara more acute than the acknowledgment to individual responsibility.
Because there is merely a veiled dichotomy between emphasis and perspective, between religion and philosophy, readers shouldn’t be surprised if I am using the Bible as the handbook to proper diet. When a man’s souls is sick, the body automatically follows suite. This may provoke the question: are all God’s worshippers healthy then? For some it is the only way God could save them from mundanity because he wants to use them for his glory (Jn 9:1-3; 11:4; ), and for others it is their sin and disobedience to God’s words (Lev 26: 14-16; Deut 28:15-68; Job 33:27-28; Ps 107:17-19;Micah 6:3;). Permit that I emphasized a necessary appendix here. God does not send sickness on his children, he permits it by lifting the hedge of protection for those whom He is testing, but the hedge of protection is self-destruct for those who are unrepentantly sinning.
Consequently, to be spiritually healthy, we must go back to God. I am not talking about church; I am talking about worshipping God in spirit and in truth. God says eat vegetables and fruits. If you do not do that, it is sin because, “Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin (James 5:17).”  The reason the Japanese are the healthiest industrialized nation is summed up in the words of Harvard school of Public health Prof Joshua Salomon, “‘it’s likely a combination of factors, a combination of genetics and of healthy behaviors, including diet.’” There is a reason God wanted man to be surrounded by all these plants. Others have kept their spiritual health, but they have neglected their physical health.

Physical Health: having a healthy body.
Physical health encompasses exercising, diet, prevention and treatment. There are some physical ailments that are hereditary. Nonetheless, ailments could still be overcome by proper physical health. The pollution, behavior, lifestyle and fitness have broken down our health hedges, leaving many sick and dying. While lifestyle is not preponderant, it is an important plate in the health chain. It is so depressing to always hear obese (excess amount of fat in the body) people lay a thousand and one complaints why they cannot exercise, but they want the society to accept them like that. Accepting them that way is to encourage them to die young. The backbone to physical fitness is your behavior.  Many have argued that just maintaining a good spiritual health is enough. To the contrary, Paul said to Timothy, “For bodily exercise profits little: but godliness is profitable to all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come (I Tim 4:8).” Something being less does not mean it is useless. You don’t need it too much, but you cannot do without. One does not need a gym to exercise. I do at least 20 different exercises at home. Here is where phytomedicine comes into your physical health.
You need lean muscles to be healthy, and veggies help to repair damaged muscles. These vegetables will also serve as antioxidants. By eating vegetables, you automatically control your weight. Fruits too have the same properties, albeit they come with fructose which may cause weigh gain at waistline if the individual is not exercising properly. You see, God cannot counsel you to your death. There is no excuse for so many people to be on many medications, yet they are still very unhealthy.
Until then, read part 3.

How Does God Want US to Eat? Part 1.

This could be the most important article you ever read from me, so I plead with you to take your time and read it carefully. I will divide the article into three parts to encourage those who do not like to read, to read. Your health and life are very important to you and to us. It is not as if the Americans do not know what to eat and drink, but they want to eat what they like and want. It is not persiflage as I do not want you to be sick again because these principles have kept me away from the hospital for the past 24 years and more. I always feel sad seeing people living in a country with such a wealth of information still under the bondage of sickness or being very obese. I am not saying that people cannot be sick, but he or she should not be sick out of dietary negligence. This lesson is not positing that God prescribes what we eat, but it hypothesizes that God has a way or a diet he wants humanity to practice. The secret is to use the fruits for meat and leaves for medicine. I will explain what it really means. Therefore, this lesson will expose the causes and then propose solutions which are my own secret of living healthy as a man who has not been sick since 1990. The causes and prevention will be placed into five categories: spiritual, physical, emotional, social and intellectual health. I had gleaned the open secret from the Bible: Leaves for medicine and fruits (edible fruits- Lev 19:23) for food (Ezek 47:12). The Bible mentions at least 127 types of plants; thus, showing the importance it has for phytomedicine. The hermeneutics of the latter verse will be the centrifuge of my analyses.

How can people live in America with all these medications, yet they are so sick and have such a shorter lifespan as compared to other industrialized nations? If medications alone were enough to keep people healthy, then the United States will be the healthiest nation in the world because it manufactures more medications than any other country. Cancer and high blood pressure are leaving no stone unturned, mental diseases do not want to throw the relay baton, and obesity is building a propinquity to the teenagers unparalleled worldwide. Just this year, the Harvard Health Publication wrote this, “In less than 40 years, the prevalence of obesity in the U.S. has increased by over 50 percent, so that two of every three American adults are now overweight or obese. Even worse, the obesity epidemic is rapidly spreading to our children.”[1] The future is looking very bleak. In her online version on January 10, 2013, Medical News Today published this, “Americans have shorter lifespans and higher rates of injury and disease than their counterparts in other rich countries, researchers from the Institute of Medicine and the National Research Council wrote in a new report this week.”[2]  On May 1, 2014, CDC even confirmed that Americans are dying prematurely from preventable diseases.[3] Apart from America herself, the rest of the world knows that Americans are too sick. They are even risible to a point where they are referred to as “the sick people of industrialized nations.”

There are many reasons why people are too sick: unhealthy behaviors and lifestyle contribute to the billions of dollars spent in this country on healthcare. The irresponsible lifestyle affects everyone because the effects are cyclical. Considering that people keep living unhealthy lifestyles, they get sick and so the government imposed upon businesses to include healthcare provision in their packages. Let us start with our first category.

Book Review: The Dialectic of Economic Development.

The Dialectic of Economic Development.       John Tataw Manga, (New York: Xlibris, 2013) 172 Pages                                                                             Review by Ozodi Osuji

This book is a joy to read; in fact, it is as if the writer is proficient in literary writing and deployed that skill in his discourse on the dialectics of economic development in the southern Hemisphere of our planet.
The theme of the book is technology transfer. The author, apparently, has given quite a bit of thinking to the question: why is the south not developed?
By the south he is really talking about Africa, for if he includes Asian and Latin American countries we can easily see that some of those are developing at a rapid rate than Eastern European countries. Let us get
The subject of Africa’s underdevelopment has been addressed from many angles by many writers.  Many theses have been posited by the various writers that take on this conundrum.  What is self-evident is that no one really has explained why fifty four years after they obtained their independence from their European colonial master’s most African countries remain as underdeveloped as ever, perhaps, more so than they were when they obtained their independence from Europeans.
Mr. Manga, an economist who had worked in various management capacities in the banking sector in the Cameroons proffered one more hypothesis as to why Africa is not joining the rest of the world in economic development.
Why is Africa backward?  Mr. Manga proffered the interesting hypothesis that it is not in the interest of the nations of the Northern Hemisphere for the south to be allowed to develop. His view is that the logic of self-interest of Europeans impedes economic progress in Africa.
If Africa is allowed to develop that would mean transferring technology to Africa, such as transferring manufacturing factories to Africa. That would mean that what is currently manufactured in Europe and North America is manufactured in Africa. If this were to happen, it would mean that Africa would no longer be the source of raw materials for European manufacturers but a source of competition for Europeans manufacturers. It would mean that Africans would have access to cheap manufactured goods and that would undermine the profits of European companies manufacturing such goods.
Hitherto, Europeans buy raw materials at dirt price from Africa, ship them to Europe, transform them into finished goods and sell them at exorbitant prices in Africa. Indeed, sometimes the Africans that produced the raw materials may not be able to buy the finished goods sold by Europeans!
In the meantime, European manufacturers are able to provide their workers good wages. They do so because they sell their goods at high prices in Africa and make profit and transfer some of that profit to their workers in Europe. That way, European factory workers make middle class income while workers in Africa hardly are able to make enough money to put decent good food on their tables.
It is, therefore, in the best interest of Europe and North America if technology is not transferred to Africa, Mr. Manga reasoned.  It serves the national interests of Europe for Africa to be kept underdeveloped and preserved as the source of raw materials for European manufactures.
If Africa is allowed to become developed she would constitute competition for Europeans and that would lead to lowering of wages in Europe. Consider that at present the average European’s hourly wages is more than a man in certain parts of Africa makes in a whole week of working.
Given Africa’s low wages European manufacturers would like to manufacture in Africa and sell cheap in Europe and in the process reduce the standard of living in Europe. It is, however, in Europe’s best interests if Africa is kept underdeveloped, if technology is not transferred to Africa.  This is the reasoning of Mr. Manga.
Mr. Manga said that it does not make any difference whether we are talking about capitalist Europe or communist Europe. As he sees it, self-interest calculations trumps the goodwill thinking that had naively assumed that developed countries would gladly help underdeveloped countries to become developed.
Clearly, Mr. Manga is a thoughtful man; he is a very powerful observer of the economic behavior of human beings. There is no doubt that human beings behave to serve their self-interests.
As Adam Smith observed in The Wealth of Nations, people may talk about public interests all they want, human beings tend to work hardest when they are serving their self-interests. Human beings are selfish animals. Adam Smith does not regret that reality but seeks ways to manipulate it. Since people are looking after their self-interests they would buy from sellers of goods those who sell cheap what they want to buy. If a supplier is able to produce goods and services of high quality and sell them cheap people would buy them instead of buy from sellers who have similar goods and services but demand higher prices.
Rationally interested people buy what is in their self-interests and buy cheap.  Thus, rational suppliers of goods and services strive to find more efficient ways of producing what they sell and sell them cheap so that people would buy them. Mr. Smith reasoned that this process leads to more efficient allocation of goods and services in a political economy.
Planned allocation of resources, the rational Scotsman would say, is an inefficient way to run an economy. If in doubt see what happened in Communist Russia where despite having vast resources the people lived at third world state.
Mr. Manga’s reasoning is understandable but flawed. It is flawed because he failed to grasp that capitalism is always seeking ways to manufacture things cheap and sell cheap and make profits. If capitalism works, as it is supposed to work, Africa’s cheap labor cost ought to be a magnet for European manufacturers to build their factories in Africa, pay cheap wages and then have cheap goods to sell in Europe. Companies that could do so would make profits Vis a Vis those companies that manufacture in Europe at high labor costs.
Pure capitalism suggests that there ought to be a rush to move manufacturing to Africa. Such a rush took place when Western manufacturers moved their factories to Asia in the 1980s.   So, why are Western manufacturers leery of moving their factories to Africa?
Because Europeans and Americans are not moving their factories to Africa, some Africans succumb to a conspiracy theory: they don’t want us to become developed because if we do we become a threat to their economy.
But here are some facts to consider. Africa’s lay of the land does not yet have many of the things manufacturers’ desire. Infrastructure, such as good roads, railways, seaports, airports and transportation in general, electricity and good water source is absent in Africa.  There is no pool of well-trained middle class persons in many African countries able to work as managers and technocrats.
Many African countries are bedeviled by corruption. For example, nothing gets done in Nigeria without someone giving bribery to someone.  There is no rule of law that would make manufacturers feel that the African polity is stable and that their investments are safe.
Many factors conspire to make northern investors wary of investing their capital in Africa.  These factors play roles in Africa’s current backwardness.
Mr. Manga’s thesis plays some role in the equation but is certainly not the only factor retarding Africa’s efforts at economic development. His proposition is certainly worth reading.
Mr. Manga is an excellent writer; he clearly did his research and fished out information that supports his thesis. He presented his ideas in a readable book. I recommend that all those who are interested in development matters in Africa should read this book.

“Rev, What is spiritual warfare, and how do you know that you are suffering from a spiritual attack?”

A.    Definition

Many people are unknowingly suffering under the yoke of the devil. There are many cases in America that should be treated only with spiritual warfare. Unfortunately, they are so given into explaining everything by logic that they allow their people to keep suffering. A spiritual attack is an ailment whose roots can neither be traced by medical tests, scans nor be found by whatever instrument that the physical eye can interpret the results. Let us say that you have head pain, but despite all the x-ray, scans and blood or urine tests, they cannot see anything, yet you are still in pain. That is a spiritual attack. Take one glaring example. A couple wants children, but despite their negative tests, they still can’t see the cause of their sterility and thus inability to bear children. That is a spiritual attack and your rest will come only from a spiritual solution rather than a physical one because when the wind blows, it exposes the chicken’s anus.

B.     The Nature Of Spiritual Attacks.

When the Bible says that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, it underscores two things. Firstly, it means that spiritual warfare is a habitual occurrence because wrestling entails rubbing two bodies together. Secondly, it means that spiritual warfare is not against human beings; consequently, “the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds.” Even if you knew that someone was a witch and was responsible for all your troubles, he/she is not your enemy. The enemy is the spirit from that person which attacks you at night or during the day.

I once worked in a mental health facility. The week that I will pray with the patients and rebuke their spirits, they will be great, but the week I don’t work, I will only hear that “this or that was really bad and we had to take her to the hospital.” When I am in those premises, I was constantly in prayers. The principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and the spiritual wickedness which held them captive could only be subdued by prayers and fasting. Nonetheless, it does not exempt them from taking medication because just because Jesus was going to pray for the blind, did not prevent him from putting mud on his eyes.

It is important to note that the devil does not touch the innocent. Even the witches that suck blood, they can only do it on you when you open up through association or by participation of evil. If you are involved in any evil on people too, you open yourself up to the attack of witches. For the devil to touch the innocent or righteous, he must obtain permission slip from God as in the case of Job (Job 1:12) or Paul (2 Cor 12:7-10). In such cases, it will not lead unto death. The end of the righteous will be better than his middle.

Although hippopotamuses do not bask in the sun the same way, the tactics of Lucifer are always the same in essence. They are always the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life as he did to Eve (Gen 3:6), Jesus (Mt 4:4-10) and the world (I Jn 2: 16). It is not as if he brings anything new. The temptation tricks he uses were actually stolen from God.  When God made the earth, he made trees that were pleasing to the eyes and good for food. (Gen 2:9). Then the devil now took them and added a third, "the pride of life", which is the vainglory from the acquisition of earth things. The devil always entices the victim with a carrot- evil enticement (James 1:14). He walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom to devour (I Pet 5:8). He dangles lust and when that lust has conceived, it delivers sin which in turn will produce death. If the individual falls, then he takes control. He stands from the outside and entices you with the things you like.
How does he know then those things you like when he is not omniscient as God? Every human being on earth goes along with two spirits. The familiar spirit (Lev 19:31; 20:6, 27; Deut 18:9-14) and the spirit of God in the breath of life (Gen 2:7; Job 33: 4; Ezek 37: 5) and the Holy Spirit (Jn 14:17). It is that conscience or superego which now serves as the reconciler between our synderesis and our syneidesis. The spirit of God tries to draw you to God (Jn 14:26) while the familiar spirit tries to draw you back to the devil (I Sam 28: 7-25). The familiar spirit hovers over you daily, most of the times, taking your verbally expressed plans to the devil, and the devil now creates their counterfeit. That is why your temptation is never new to the desires of your heart. Otherwise, there will be no dilemma to make a choice over that which is bad.

For example, if you are looking for a job, the devil may bring you an organization, a man or woman who attaches hiring you with some ungodly strings. Another example could be those women who are looking for children. They go ahead and take potions and concoctions from witch doctor that make them pregnant. After that, the child comes with evil spirits into their home. Sometimes if a woman gets pregnant from adultery, she could also bring in demons.

Sometimes false prophets will give you all sorts of prophecies on how your destiny will be like heaven, but there is a war of attrition in front of you. When you have dreams in which you were winning and dinning on strange meat with strange people,   when you get up and feel satisfied, it is a sign of spiritual warfare. To succeed in a spiritual warfare, the wrestler must not have hatred or evil in their heart. That is different from falling in sin. The fighter should not labor the type of sin where they meditate to do evil and hurt another human being. That is why in traditional African society, virgins were the ones solicited to go and bring certain medicine from the forest. However, spiritual warfare requires courage and not timidity.

C.    How to overcome in Spiritual Warfare.

The fearful and cowards (Deut 20:8; Judges 7:3; Prov 24:10) cannot fight for God and themselves. Fear exposes the victim to the devil. The good thing about this war is that, those who believe in God are destined to win because they have the most efficient weapons (truth, righteousness, gospel, faith, salvation, and the word of God) as listed in Ephesians 6:10-18. In providing an amour for the Christian soldier, God gave no weapon to protect the back because he does not encourage cowardice. Never turn your back to the devil. The destination we strive to attain should submerge our fears because spiritual warfare is a war of attrition that we must not give up. No matter how much the afflictions, the Christian must only look unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.

D.    Conclusion.

The devil will camouflage as an angel of light through familiar source to attain you. At times, we may join them unwittingly, not knowing we are surreptitiously digging our own grave. The reason we fall prey is because we refuse to hearken to the warnings and counsel of the Lord. We refuse to listen to wise counsel from other saints. We need each other in this war we fight.

The spiritual warfare is not a one man show. The devil will take the face of a familiar person in a relative or good friend, but the surrealism should help you escape the more.  In this battle, there will be a time where you will come to a dilemma, not knowing where to go. Let God be your guide. You should listen to the Spirit of God to lead you to a better port. The battle is not for the fearful, but it is also not for the strong because it is neither by power nor by might but by the spirit of the Most High God. It should always be forward ever and backwards never. You will need all the wisdom of your parents to scale through the spiritual walls. When you are about to reach your destination, the battle will even be crueler than it was. It is not the time to give up. You spiritual enemies will never go away. They will keep fighting to drag you down. You must encourage one another until you obtain victory because victory is your destiny.

Until then, let us fight the good fight of faith.
