The Black Parents and Their Excuses are Killing These kids.

It really pains my heart to see young black boys dying as antelopes during a hunting season. This is becoming painful to everyone because children should bury their parents and not vice versa. The black community has to be forceful with these issues. Rather than march unnecessarily, they should organize education sessions. Why was he walking with a loaded gun? I just don't understand how someone who goes to rob a store is a good kid. After he dies, all of a sudden he becomes Einstein who wanted to go to college. These are unnecessary excuses that veil the actual problem.
I had a black kid in my class. Actually, he was the only black kid, so I thought about being a mentor to him. A day after a basketball game, he will not show up in school. Every time I called home, his mother will tell me how he asked him to stay home because he was a little bit sore. Each time she gave me one excuse to another, and the kid was so rude to a point where it was difficult to deal with him. The last straw was when he was failing because he did not do his work, and he came for me to pass him. I told him to go and make up the work. Instead, he began to boast to me how in the next two years he will be in the NBA. He topped his arrogance with a threat, “I will tell on you. You know they gonna believe me." I saw in him someone who likes what he sees because any child or an adult who knows that he or she can tell a lie and get someone in trouble, that person is not a good person. I don’t care what you say!
It was the pattern with many. I did not say all, and I did not say white kids don’t do same for those of you who like histrionics. We can blame slavery all we want, blame the democrats all we want or even blame the white cops how we want, but there is still an elephant in the room.  I am also aware that the police will shoot at an African American kid faster than a white kid in the same situation. Nonetheless, our kids must do better. I read people alluding to the Bundy Confrontation, but they failed to allude to the The Waco Massacre
When I try to help a white kid, he or she is very polite and grateful. The parents may not cooperate, but the kids are very cooperative. You ask a white kid why he or she is failing a class and he or she will explain to you. On the contrary, the black kid will reply to you, “That is none of your business. Gosh, you are so nosy!” Sometimes, I wonder if the rudeness is because of my accent but seeing different kids from different states with the same pattern leaves no doubt that it is a tradition and culture.
Look, why did Jawaad Jabbar in Ohio pull out a gun to rob another man of his Nike Air Jordan, yet people say he was a good kid? Words lose their meanings each time these teenagers commit a crime. Any kid who walks around with a gun, trying to rob others or shoot people without cause is not a good kid, truth be told!
While Michael Brown’s execution has a cause for marches, these two do not. Even Eric Garner’s case is problematic. I doubt I will go to march for him. Why was he selling cigarettes in the street? Why was he always standing in the street? If he did not have a job, he could have gone back to the community college and get a trade. After graduation, his stocks could be higher or his chances better. Our people say that if a man does not want to be eaten by vultures, he should not die in the field. He knew that the police was watching him because people have called about him selling cigarettes there. He should not have given them any excuse to attack him.
The parents must cooperate with teachers. White teachers cannot rebuke the black kids for fear they are accusedof racism. The black teachers cannot for fear of abuse. The parents provide an excuse for everything. That is why we have the same mime reenacted day in day out in our streets. It is as a result of failed parenting. Do not sell me the old clichés of slavery and no male figures at home. There are many Asian and African kids who grew up without a male figure. The mothers then should stop these excuses and cooperate with those who want to help their kids. Otherwise, they’ll bury them young. Our people say, "If a child does not find out what killed his father, that same thing will kill him too."
Until then, black parents must assume most of the blame in these kids’ deaths.

This is why I talk to everybody and try to cheer them up whether i know them or not because people are going through different struggles in life. Next time if you see me cheering you up, you should not think that I need something.

Now look at what these people did. They just needed someone to give them good advice. However, they did not get because some of them have made the society so artificial . If you start being kind to a woman, she quickly concludes that you want sex. Click on this slideshow below and you should have enough prayer topics.

You know how people always stand like Zombies on the line at the post office, so one day I was standing on the line at a post office. I looked at one lady and said to her, "relax, you are too tense; everything will be ok." She smiled, and replied, " I am trying to. It is so hard to relax when you have too many things just putting you down." I told her two stories and a joke, and she laughed. When the clerk said,"next", I wished her well and went to the clerk. She said aloud, "you are really an angel sent directly from God to me. Thank you so much." You should take time to watch news daily, and you will see why you must put the word of God into practice. The bible says that there is no difference between those who say they know God and those who do not know Him, if those who say they know Him only greet those they know (Mt 5:47).

Did Jesus Have A Wife And Children?

This mail is in reply to the article written by Jacqueline Kubania of Kenya’s online Daily Nation. I find it ludicrous that anyone would join the gallery of the simpletons with this assertion. Every scientific fact goes through the empiricism of observation, hypothesis, experimentation and theory (OHET). These stages were used to examine the birth, life and works of Jesus on earth. If the authors are serious, they should scientifically validate their information because science has the empirical tools for validation. Was Jesus married with Mary? Where did he live? How come no historicity, no archaeological proofs and no written evidence at a time when writing was well developed?
It is true that not everything that Jesus did was documented (Jn 22:25). However, having a wife and children was not unimportant for it not to have even been written, considering the number of enemies he had. If Jesus had two kids who grew up to be normal people, we should have at least known their names.
The claim that the church worked to erase all evidence is like saying that the church did everything to erase accusations about child molestation nowadays. Would the church succeed, no matter how many people they paid? There are people who want to see the church with a black eye, so they will do all to expose the church. That was the case of Jesus. If they had heard or seen Jesus dating, they would have exposed him. That does not mean that dating and marriage are evil. It would have just been news that would have been taken awkwardly.
Would Kenyans believe that Kibaki was cuckolded? Anyone who will believe that is unwise because most people who knew him, knew how many enemies Lucy Kibaki had. They will be ready to expose her in a heartbeat. Jesus was no different. He had garnered the hatred of the governors who had the ability to siphon any information they wanted.
If Jesus had a wife and kids, then Josephus who was regarded as the epitome of Jewish history would have written that. He was a Pharisee, and Pharisees had a special hatred for Jesus. Nonetheless, in all his voluminous writings, he never once mentioned that Jesus had a wife and kids. If one person could not write and mention that, why would the entire nation remain mute at a time when people could still express their minds in favor of the emperor? Jesus was an enemy of the powers that be, so no one would have protected his history because history always favors the strong and victors.
Finally, I want you to take note of the source of the writing. It is by a film maker and writer. It is all to drum support for their movie which cast a new Jesus with a wife and children.  If the lost gospels were worth a thing, they would have been honored and canonized as was the case of the 66 books or at least be introduced as the Apocrypha.

Until then, you should not be fooled by filmmakers!

Should Maria Shriver have Banned Miley Cyrus from Attending their Christmas Party?

News broke out that Maria Shriver has banned Miley Cyrus (the girlfriend of her son: Patrick Schwarzenegger) from attending their Christmas party. This is not news worthy; however, we should talk about it now that it is out here. There are serious ramifications theologically, socially and morally for us as a society. Should parents be allowed to select spouses for their children? Can a human being know the other person? Can humans know what sits in the hearts of others? In an attempt to establish answers for these questions, we will be taking a position with her actions, whether they are good or bad.
As a Christian, I would want to counsel people and say marry other Christians, yet that will be unrealistic, considering that Christian marriages are failing too just the same as non-Christian marriages and mixed marriages between Christians and non-Christians are even surviving better. One thing we have seen is that sometimes, the words may be different from what the individuals are living as was the case with Gingrich and Ted Hager. There are certain reasons why I think Miss Shriver is wrong.
Firstly, Christmas is a time when we celebrate the coming of Jesus: the Prince of peace. That is not even a good time to ban anyone from coming to your home to celebrate with you. It should be a time to invite the poor girl to your home and be a better mother to her. It is a time to pull her to your laps and counsel her. What type of a mother are you? She should think her decision over!
Secondly, by banning the girl, she showed that she was a failed parent. A parent who has succeeded in raising her own child does not need to warn the neighbor’s child; he or she talks to her own child who will hearken to her advice because her child is well brought up. If she failed to raise her child up properly, she should not blame it on Miley Cyrus. Therefore, her actions instead raise questions with her parental skills.
Thirdly, if this was happening in North Korea, we would have been calling it forced marriage or unforced marriage. By refusing her son to date Miley Cyrus, she is tacitly selecting a spouse for him. Shouldn’t kids be merely advised but allowed to date who they want? Do parents still select spouses for their children? What is the difference with forced marriages? It is the son’s personal choice to marry whom he wants, so she should not bother the young woman.
Fourthly, we should differentiate between stage props and performance from real life living. People have to make a clear dichotomy between stage props and real life. Sex sells and we know that. If Ms. Cyrus does not engage in wayward behavior, no one will see her. How many see me right here for what I do. If I began walking naked today, I will be in the news. Therefore, people should not consider the young woman as being vile simply because she dances provocatively on TV. She knows that is what will make her pocket book big, so she is doing just that. We should even commend her for being a savvy business woman.
Fifthly, we should be a society that reforms and not one that deforms. People argue that Miley Cyrus has shown very bad example on television; therefore, “she is no marriage material.” This is contrary to scripture. God who is without sin asked prophet Hosea to marry Gomer: a notorious prostitute, and he did (Hosea 1:2-3). One thing I will like for people to know is that, God has not given upon humans to decipher the hearts of others. The bible says, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it (Jer. 17:9)?” There are girls who do not act as Miley, but they are ten times worse than her, and they are married simply because they are in church. Duncan said, ‘There’s no art to find the mind’s construction in the face.” (Macbeth. Act 1, Sc 4, L 12). That s Duncan talking about Cawdor. Let us say that Miley Cyrus is that bad. Couldn't it be an opportunity for the good guy to reform her? J’en suis conscient  que, “evil communication corrupt good manners,” yet this is not one of those situations. If ever there was a need, it would be to encourage her to good behavior.
Sixth, time is the best judge. If the relationship is not going to be, time will determine that. Time has a way of breaking things apart beyond any human explanation. If she is a bad person for the guy, time will reveal it, and  they will both go their separate ways. Time is like a battle ax that cuts opens the road for you to see afar.
Therefore, Ms. Shriver is wrong banning her. She should not be the scapegoat of her failed parenting, and she should not choose who her son should marry based on television performance. That is too synthetic and superficial for a woman of her caliber. I have always loved and respected her; albeit, sometimes good people do stupid things, and this is one of them! Let those who consider themselves morally better than her encourage the young woman unto good works and not quarantine her unto Satan’s shrine.Time has a way of sorting out the chaffs from the wheat and the goat from the sheep.

Until then, let us not judge for the same judgment may await us.

Who to Blame when 7 out of 23 adolescent girls on a field trip come back home pregnant?

28 students who were 13 and 14 years old from Banja Luka in Serbia went to Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina for a fieldtrip to see museums and other landmarks, but 7 of them returned home pregnant.  The parents are blaming the teachers, and the teachers are blaming the parents. The same problem bedevils America with summer camps where many girls came back pregnant. Theses ones are unfortunate because there is no ground for abortion since they don’t have the money. If they had the means to abort, no one would have heard a word. Why do you think young boys and girls are very excited about summer camps? Nonetheless, who is to blame?
It is not only with sex; it is also with misbehavior at school. This is exactly what the teachers decry all along about informal education. Education is in two categories: informal and formal. The former starts at home and reinforces the latter that is taken in school. When a student shoots people, the school and school system should not be held responsible because if the child was well taught at home that killing was bad, that child would not have killed.
Many parents don’t have that bond with their children, so it is difficult for the students to learn anything from them. Many families do not talk and when they talk, it is only accusations. You did this and you did that. They do not sit and have a nice conversation without someone getting angry. Parents have to create teachable moments at home. The question is, “how much do the parents themselves know to teach their kids?”
What about the kids with no parents? What about those in the shelters and group homes? It is clear and certain now that kids can learn from their parents. That is why Solomon said, “Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it (Prov. 22:6).”  There is lack of mutual regulation between the parents and the children. If a teacher was talking about sex, parents will complain that it is not a sex education class. If the sex education teacher talks about masturbation, then they say that he or she has given the children to the devil. To avoid ambiguity of parent’s behavior, teachers leave it alone. The parents then should have taught those kids as they were growing up about the sex and its byproducts. When kids are going to a trip, the parent who knows that the child is not on birth pills should give them condoms. Kids should be taught about wearing condoms for fear of not only unwanted pregnancy but also transmissible diseases. Nowadays, in most schools even a mere attempt to moralize students is considered religion. They reject moralization, yet they cry of teenage pregnancy.
In a situation like this, the parents bear 100% of the blame and not the teachers. Would a teacher go to supervise the kids at all times? How many minutes does it take for sex that can cause pregnancy to happen? Would the teacher chain the kids on a field trip? Would the teacher not sleep? Teenage or underage Pregnancy is not a cognitive failure; it is a moral failure.
The parents have taken away the teacher’s rights and abilities to moralize their kids, so they should bear the brunt of any failure. Those are the byproducts of failed informal education.  I always tell my students that I am your role model, so you look unto me. That is usually an attempt to fill the gap and lacuna of informal education.

Until then, the parents should assume their responsibilities and leave those teachers alone!

"Is it OK to be naked in front of your kids?"

Parents and kids naked

I saw this question on CNN. There is an incessant debate whether it is ok for kids to see their parents naked. While parents who walk naked in front of their kids do that as a show of self-acceptance and a show of their rights to be naked, others see it as scarring the kids for life and inappropriate. I will use psychology, the Bible and logic to make my case. In this paper, I will define nudity, the nature thereof, trace its origins, and show the morality and the immorality, while exposing the logical, psychological and biblical consequences.
The word nakedness or naked is used in three different ways in the Bible. Literally it means shameful exposure of the genitals (Lev 20:11. Gen 9:22-23; I Sam 20:30; Lev 18:8, 16). Figuratively, it means indecency (Hosea 2:11; Job 1:21;Rev. 3: 17; 16:15; Deuteronomy 28:48) or to be exposed and undefended (Job 22:6; 24: 7; Is 47:1-15;2 Cor 5:1-5). When it is used as exposed or undefended, it means the individual was wearing merely a tunic (Jn 21:7). It is important to note that nakedness or nudity starts and ends with genitals. Although I have written another article about this, I will make some necessary appendixes here.
For some reason, many men have included the breasts of a woman as part of nudity; however, looking at history and biblical exposition, the breasts were not part of nudity or nakedness. In prescribing how Aaron’s linen breeches were to be made, God gave Moses the exact prescription to avoid exposing his nakedness. They were to stretch from the loins (hips) to the thighs (Ex 28:42; Is 20:2-4). I am sure that the hips do not go above the belly, or do they? In quasi nakedness, the individual wore only a tunic that measured still from the loins to the thighs. In Exodus 20:26, God ordered Aaron: the high priest not to build an Altar whose ascension is through the stairs for fear he exposes his nakedness. One does not need to climb up the stairs for people to see that they are naked if they did not have a shirt and the breasts were part of nakedness. In Isaiah 47:2-3, the same notion of nudity starting with the loins and ending with the thighs is repeated.
To show that nakedness starts and ends with the genitals, the primitive people who walked without clothes covered the genitals once they reached the age of majority. That is because God had set eternity in the hearts of all people (Eccl 3:11). Now that we have proven that nakedness has to do only with the genitals, we will proceed to the question proper. Is it ok for parents to show their genitals to their children?

God created Adam and Eve naked and they were unaware (Gen 2:25). In a succinct parallelism, Job says, “Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD (Job 1:21).” He juxtaposes the literal womb and the figurative womb side by side to emphasize the nihilism of man’s quest for materialism. Just as he came empty from his mother’s womb, so will he return into the womb of mother earth without taking anything along with him.
Psychologically, the child becomes more exposed and precocious in seeing their parents naked (genitals). I am sure that some kids might have erections or hotness in them because even psychology teaches that kids above 5 years old fantasize in love matters. We can flashback at “Oedipus the King” and “The Gods are not to Blame”. In each of those books, there is a great show of Oedipus and Electra complexes that reach their paroxysm with the deaths of their parents. That is because as the kids see their parents naked, they also get sexually aroused at a stage called the oedipal stage. At 3 years old already, Lawrence Kohlberg believes that the "premoral period" has begun. If the child could be offended or be happy for what is done to them, then they can as well feel towards the opposite sex , whether stranger or relative; otherwise, why would they be able to experience the stranger and separation anxieties?  Child as young as three could build on their attachment and establish a stronger social bond. Nowadays, children as young as three talk about having boyfriends and girlfriends, talk less of a 14 year old.
One time a 14 year old came to me to counsel her. She told me that she had a crush for her 32 year old uncle, and she was unable to shake it off. She feels like she must “fck him to feel good. Is that a bad feeling?” I asked her if she had spoken to her counselor. She told me that she does not trust any of those people working in those offices. I tried to paint the damage she will do to the guy, if they were caught. She said that they always walk naked in their home, and their uncle lived with them too. I think that the feeling was buttressed by seeing him walk around the house naked too like everyone else.
By walking naked, we entice others for sex. Coca cola puts out a commercial to entice people to drink coke. It is difficult to see a beautiful naked person without sex coming to your mind. If you have sex in your mind with them, you have already sinned (Mt 5:28). It is your right to do certain things, but you should take guard that your liberty does not become a stumbling block unto others (I Cor 8:9). It was seeing Bathsheba’s naked body (2 Sam 11:2) as she bathed that made David to sin.
The nakedness of some people will scare their kids instead of entice them because their nakedness is ugly. We cover the least honorable part which is our genitals (I Cor 12:23). That is why the Israelites had to show their true fasting by covering those who walked naked in public (Is 58:7). Here the nakedness refers to rags. It simply meant giving clothes to those who did not have.
Nakedness per se is not entirely prohibited, but it was not good in public (Micah 1:8). It is problematic when you expose it to a second or third person who has no business seeing it.
When Adam and Eve sinned and their innocence disappeared, they realized that they were naked, so God made animal skin to cover their nakedness. Initially, Adam and eve made a covering of fig leaves to cover their nakedness. It was a prototype of humanity’s shallowness in trying to cover self. We should even be happy staying naked because clothes came in as a badge of our sins. Hellas, we cannot be because God did not want us exposed. He then made a better covering with animal skin which surpassed clothing from fig leaves. It also foreshadowed blood as the prerequisite for the remission of sins.
Noah got drunk and was naked in his own house (Gen 9:20-29). We learn two things from this passage. Children were not permitted to see the nakedness of their parents. Nakedness doesn’t just come without issues. The son who did not cover the father’s nakedness was cursed because it was and it is wrong to see your father’s nakedness. It should be noted that before the law was given, the law that existed was the law of conscience. That is why the other kids knew that it was wrong to behold their father’s nakedness. It was the very law of conscience that made Adam and Eve to sew fig leaves to cover their nakedness in public (Gen 3:7). God then put a civil law prohibiting sex and physical nudity amongst relatives (Lev 18:6-23).
When the law came into existence, God stated it out clearly. The nakedness here is twofold: sex and physical nakedness. People were prohibited to have sex with their parents or siblings, but they were also prohibited from seeing them as the laws that came merely amplified that which was written in their hearts, deep in their consciences. This implies there is evil in a child seeing the nakedness of their parents. What about when they are kids or when a parent is sick and unable to take care of himself/herself. At this moment, Acts 17:30 is activated. It becomes the time of ignorance when God winks at the failures of the individual. That particular time see as if they see through a dark glass. When a parent is sick, the child becomes like the caregiver. The permission to take care of the sick is activated and the indemnity paid for.
The bible shows instances where people walked naked in public. Those were not normal people. Either they were possessed with demons (Lk 8:27), or they were under attack where their clothes have been torn apart (Mk. 14:51-52; Acts 19”13-16).  Unlike before, there was no pride in walking or exposing one’s nakedness, but today people even pay to see it. Those who exposed their nakedness were harlots (Is 57:8; Ezek 23:18), and they still are today. When God asked a prophet to walk naked, it was for demonstrative purposes only (Is 20:2-4).
Therefore, it is not a good thing for a parent to walk naked in front of their child who is able to differentiate good from bad and can experience hurt feelings. They can do that if the child is still very young. It could traumatize the child or excite them sexually.

Until then, It is not a wise idea for adolescent or teenagers to see the nakedness of their parents.

Sony executives: A Culture of Turncoats.

Americans make me laugh! See them acting like it is a strange thing to see those emails. It reminds me of an African adage, “every dog eats shit, but the one caught eating shit in public is the bad dog." This is a culture that holds in very high esteem the art of gossiping. When you talk with an American at work, in church or school and leave, you might not know what he or she will write behind your back. Gossiping and backstabbing is not only a Hollywood culture; it is ingrained in the daily lives of Americans. You should not be surprised that they did it themselves or there are Sonny people who are doing it. This North Korea accusation is fake; they just want a war with them. Someone in Sonny is doing that! Jeremiah once said, “And they will deceive everyone his neighbor, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity.”(Jer 9:5)
These Sony executives are being crucified because their emails have been leaked. Thanks to WikiLeaks and Snowden, you saw what the American ambassadors wrote about their host countries. I was standing one day with a group of teachers, and another teacher came with her dress she bought during the break. All the women there praised her how the dress was beautiful and gorgeous. Immediate after she left, all of them began to condemn the dress as ugly. "Who wears a dress like that to work?" They asked with laughter! They said how she is just in her marriage because she cannot get it better outside. I asked them why they did not tell her those things in her face. They unanimously told me that it is their culture; it is disrespectful to say things in people’s faces. They said that it was culturally normative to say it behind their backs, so you do not hurt their feelings. That is totally against the scripture that tells us to speak to people's faces.
You talk with  a lady, and she tells you that she is happy seeing you.  She will say, "Please, always stop by to say hi, whenever you are chanced." When you stop by, she asks you questions and you reply. After you leave, she  complains that you are stopping by.
I was volunteering in one hospital one time as a chaplain. The administrator told me that she hated to drive because it pained her body. In my capitalistic mindset, I thought to myself that it would be a wonderful opportunity to get many volunteer hours, so I proposed to her to call me anytime she needed a drive. I was shocked to hear from my supervisor that I told her I will drive her around. If not of Christ's sake, I would have walked to her office and told her that she was not even my type. The unfortunate thing is that she never ever showed that she was busy or did not want me there. Each time I saw her, she engaged me in a lengthy conversation. When I don't want someone around, I tell them that, " I am sorry, you always come when I am busy. What is the best time to reach you?"
Most people disguise their hate with words and smile graciously to you, but they bear the serpent underneath. However, if you tell someone the truth in their face, you will find favor from them in a long run (Prov 28:23). Solomon once said, “Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful (Prov 27:6)." That is why I say what I have in my heart, and let the chips fall where they may. After all, dying is gain but to live is Christ. No mortal, timely or untimely born, visible or invisible can pick my number, if God did not want it.
One time, I sent an email to a colleague and tracked it. She did not reply to me, but she forwarded it to other people. When I asked her if she saw my email, she said that she did not see it. Then I revealed to her that she forwarded it to people. She told me that it is against the law to spy on people. She did not even apologize for her misbehavior. Why do some people take pleasure in talking behind the backs of others? They are self-serving people whose bellies vomit flatteries to deceive the naïve.
When you read those Sony emails, you wonder how anyone will look at someone in their face and write those things they wrote about them. Amy Pascal is even saying how that is not who she is. It seems like a game to some of these people to talk behind people’s backs. Where do some people really keep their consciences? For some people, everything is verbal irony. We live in the latter days when those with itchy ears for flatteries outnumber the ones who want to hear the truth.
From the mouths of most people proceed lies and destruction; their throat is an open grave and their tongue is like a bait. By telling someone the truth, you may actually save them from embarrassment. If you don’t, you will be the one to be embarrassed as the Sony executives are now. How would they look at their victims in their eyes? No wonder the kids do not trust anyone nowadays. That is why I loved Bush; he was blunt with his opinions and mind. He gave it to you, and you had the choice to brew your choice of drink just as I am doing now.
Nonetheless, it does not warrant them being fired. If everyone was fired for their mea culpa and peccadilloes, I wonder how many people will still have their jobs. Sinners should not be that quick to judge and condemn others for the very things they do themselves. Al Shaprton says that the woman has not been contrite enough because she joked about Obama. Did Obama himself with Sarkozy not talk evil against Netanyahu  under an open mic?  Jesse Jackson was caught disparaging Obama in 2008. We should be humble and merciful, seeing that we are not better. Those very people like Jolie they have derided, have done worst things to others like taking their husbands. Therefore, people should leave Amy Pascal alone!

Until then, be honest with and about yourself  and others unto yourself and others.
