Manyu Children Say Sesekou and President Paul Biya Must Go!

I see the young kids crying in their mothers’ wombs because their future has been mortgaged for political positions. Manyu elites are glad that Mamfe is tarred. Like Sisyphus, they toil and never come to the end of their travails. Mamfe is like an enclave , but their elites are setting a budget of 75 millions to reelect President Paul Biya into power. Many will not understand why the Manyu elites behave that way. The elites of Africa rely on the government for survival and for appointments to have a post. The president dangles those positions like an African goat rearer dangles cassava robbed with salt to its goats. Once they taste those appointments, they become addicted. Now they seem like they are demoniacs whose antidote is ministerial or governor position. Through these appointments, some people have been helped they say. Their altruism becomes deficient, and like a virus, the dangled appointments of the government ravage their collective volition to fight for the common man. This time the youths must say Biya must go!

Manyu elites, I challenge you, rather than raise money for the reelection of the president, you should raise money to build a proper health center, equip every secondary and primary school in Manyu division with computers, benches, libraries and raise up little inventors, business gurus and scientists. Make primary education free to every Manyu child.

It is more than shameful for learned people to act like lapdogs just for ministerial positions. Manyu elites, don’t you have any shame my brothers and sisters? Mamfe is tarred, but there is no road in and out of Mamfe. Every election year the government drives some caterpillars to grade roads, but after the elections, the caterpillars return to their base. Do you remember since when the African Development Bank approved that Mamfe-Ekok road? The government has refused to tar it. Consider all of that and say Biya must God!

You all voted for the same president for 24 years, and you want to give him again 7 more years. Don’t our people say if a young man did not hunt for a mole when he had strength, it is not when he is walking with a stick that he will hunt an elephant? Do you believe at this senile age president Biya has quickly gotten a magic wand? No, he has none; he must go.

Manyu people don’t you all have any shame? Yes, S-H A-M-E! I understand it all began in the Northwest as they prayed and pledged their lives for president Biya to be the eternal king, but it is not a copycat worth emulating. Please raise that money and equip every school in that division with a modern health center and try to carve out a path to link Akwaya with the rest of the world. I feel sorry for the Akwaya people. If Bachuo, Ntenako, Besongabang are celebrating the president because they at least see electricity, what are you too celebrating him for; for leaving you in the neolithic age ? Some of your children will grow and die without ever seeing a car; talk less of touching it. Are you still happy about voting for him again? Please join me to say Biya must Go!

I say wake up young people of Manyu. You are sacrificing your future by following these elites. Don’t follow them. They are fighting for their interests and that of their families and kids. See, they have sent almost all their relatives abroad, given all of them jobs, and built mansions. They eat money like rats eat peanuts. Most of you fast and pray for your next meal. Your shoes have windows as if the big toe is tired of being locked up and wanted some fresh air. Some of you, your shorts have two eyes as if you buttocks want to peep a little bit into the outside world. You legs have hit so many stones that they are now webbed like the duck’s feet. Consider all your trouble and say Biya must go.

Oh young university students arise and reject the advances of the elites. Isn’t it George Orwell’s Animal Farm still in Mamfe now where all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others? Look, the SDO, DO, gendarmerie chief, the procureurs and other dignitaries have water, but you all drink from the well. Why is water still running for a selected few? Just not to make you depressed, I will leave you with this video.

Until then, long live the Manyu children!

Please send this mail to every Manyu person you know.
