The Coban Vow and The Modern Christian.

Jesus was merely challenging the elevation of man made traditions into sacred standings when he contested the Coban law (Mt 15:1-9). He was against the fact that people: Pharisees, Sadducees and scribes were neglecting their responsibilities to their parents in order to fulfill this law. If you made a Corban vow, you were to fulfill it. Some kept it but neglected their responsibilities to their parents. To Jesus, neglecting the other commandment that said honor your parents merited death just as failure to fulfill the Corban vow merited death. The Corban vow was a tradition that was elevated to a sacred standing. How many people give money to churches, ministries and charities but their parents, relatives or children are struggling with rents? Consequently, you were breaking the same law you were trying to keep in the vow. That does not mean Jesus was encouraging people to kill their children.

What Jesus meant in Mt 5:20 that your righteousness must exceed that of the scribes and Pharisees was that, your righteousness should not be artificial, synthetic or perfunctory. It should be from the heart. They did it to win human praises, but they should do it for real and if for real then they will not go and give to the temple in other to fulfill the Corban Vow while neglecting their parents who needed help. How many people give money in church just so people notice them while their families are in desperate need of lesser help? Such was the righteousness of the Pharisee, and to Jesus it was tantamount to hypocrisy.

In mt 5: 17, you will have to find out which laws. When we talk of the laws and the prophets, we mean the moral laws. The prophets did not give religious or civil laws. The reason why they dealt with moral laws was because moral laws transcend cultures and people. The law not to kill is valid in Israel as in Cameroon and the law not to commit adultery is as important in China as it is in Saudi Arabia. That is why Jesus said he did not come to abolish the law, or the bearers (prophets) of this law: moral law.

One thing you must note is that there is a clear distinction between ceremonial laws, civil laws, religious laws, and moral laws. The moral laws are the Ten Commandments, and those transcend cultures and people; whereas, the other three do not. If we practice the other three laws, then we incorporate and assimilate the Jewish life style which is not the intent of the Bible.

Jesus was for fulfilling the law, but it should go beyond the letter of the law. That is, though the Bible says give to God, you cannot give to God when your nearest neighbor has not eaten. That is why I fault people who give huge amounts of money to the church; meanwhile, their cousins are not going to school. Thus, there is no contradiction in Mk 7:9 and Mt 15:1-9.

Until then, practice true righteousness.

American Youths: The Ticking Time Bomb

Surely you have heard about group homes. Surely you have heard about foster care. Surely you have heard about many kids being seized from their parents either because their parents were deemed a danger to them, or the environment was deemed a danger. Surely you know these kids were put under the tutelage of The Division of Family and Children Services (DFCS) who either puts them into group homes, foster care homes or shelters supposedly to save them from danger. Surely you have heard that most or all of these kids are drugged (put under medication) to make the job of the workers easier. Surely you have heard that these places have become a danger to them than the benevolent guardian they thought.

That is an irony of situation. I was privileged to visit a group home in 2000. It was a family who took in kids. All the kids living in that house were under medication (Benadryl): an antidepressant.

In that house lived amongst others, a little black boy called Macus (misnomer). He loved to play and laugh, but to the house owners, "his medicine is not working." If he ran into trouble in school, they increased the dosage of his medication to soften him because he should be behaving well. When will a child play again if he does not play in his adolescence and teens? I did not understand why a child like that would be put under medication, and as I probed the business owners more, they told me “that is what DFCS wants us to do”. As I spoke with DFCS, I realized that is what the drug companies want DFCS to do. It is all about making profits; drug and sacrifice a generation just for money.

Just of recent, I met a little white girl at a bus stop. She was polite and greeted me jocundly. It was strange because most American teens and even adults seldom greet you, and even when you greet them, they look at you like you meant them evil with that early morning greetings. When you greet some of them, they ignore you, and others answer in their throat like you are their nightmare. At times, you ask yourself within why you are even debasing yourself greeting someone of that caliber.

If Christ is your boss, you learn to love even those who hate you. You learn to greet everyone you see. You learn to help everyone you meet. You do it because the Bible tells you that God wants you to do so. That is the only way you can show you are different (Mt 5:47). That is why it was strange for the child to greet me.

Underneath her smile, her face foretold the lack thereof of lebensfreude. As we conversed deeper, she unraveled her life. She was seized from her mother when she was barely 11years old. Now she is 19 and will soon turn 20. She has been living in a group home hitherto. In there, under the system she was medicated against her wishes and at times with stronger medication that made her drowsy during the day. They thought they were drowning her sorrows and saving her from depression. She too thought so and says “that medication has actually helped me some times, but this one is just too strong for me”.

As I peered deep into her face, her eyes reflected eyeballs of drugs. “You look like you do drugs” I asked. She said “I began doing drugs when I was 11, but I have stopped it on my own. Today it is just that I needed some money to cook food for thanksgiving, but I am also on medication”.

Two months later in a hotel where we were holding our meetings, I had stepped out to make more arrangements with the hotel owners and was dressed in my traditional regalia. A young woman called Ashley stood by my side. She was curious why we were dressed like that. I explained to her. She thank me and was about to go. I called her back and said “young woman, you are naturally a beautiful girl, but drugs are drowning that beauty”. In no time, she told me that she began doing drugs under DFCS custody; that when she turned 18 she left the place, and since then she has continued with the habit. But she knows when to quit; she is just waiting for the right time.

In my traditional regalia

Three people from different places living under DFCS have told me they are and were medicated. So, do you think people should be medicated for nothing? Before, at 24, and you have not been kissed you were proud of your chastity. But now at 16, and you have not been kissed you think something is wrong with you. Why do you think the kids cannot more pass entrance exams into the military ? It is now proven science that “brain- and behavior-altering drugs” are “fully capable of causing both short-term and long-term brain damage” . That means; all those anti depressants and tranquilizers are building human neurotic grenades that will exploded with little help from societal pressure.

Here are then a few things the government could do to solve this problem. Religion should be taught back in school to give kids hope. Kids who are displaced should be given mentors rather than left to fend on their own in those homes. DFCS should not take someone’s kids if they have relatives that could keep the kids. Until all attempts for relatives to keep the kids have failed, kids should not be taken into state protective care for it is evident that DFCS is like jumping from the frying pan into the fire. The kids under DFCS should not be placed under medication except if the child has shown traits of depression or other neurotic symptoms. A child should not be put on Benadryl as a solution to his or her behavior problem. There are better ways of disciplining or controlling a misbehaving child. The kids of today are the future of tomorrow. If those today are drugged as they grow up, when they get old we will reap drug addiction and its consequences.

Until then, watch out; we are setting a timed bomb.

The Road Signs Of Life We Miss Daily.

Life is like a mysterious highway; at times we bypass those who would have made us happy on the other side of the road either because of our myopia or hyperopia. We were driving with my friend, and my younger brother. The driver distractedly ran the red light, and my brother exclaimed, “Jeff, you just ran the red light!” With great bemusement, Jeff replied, “Where is it?" So I said, “You know Jeff is purblind. If he did not even see it, how would he have even stopped?” Many people drive on the highway of life as if they are visually impaired to the road signs. Here are 20 or so basic hugger-muggers to calm your plangent screeches when next you see them.

Know that the roads are of different levels: interstate, state, county roads and other roads. That means; human beings are different, and we will never be the same. Before you enter into the road, there is a sign telling you to Yield or completely stop to upcoming traffic until it is safe for you to enter. That way you give consideration for human lives and your own life. There are many people who treat others as nonentities, and they believe after them comes the flood. They have neglected love your neighbor as yourself. Some drivers see a work zone sign, but they still speed, lacking consideration for those who are working by the road side. Others have no respect at all for pedestrian crossing. You know a good person how they treat other people. You will determine someone’s righteousness and love for God by the wrongness or rightness of their relationship with other human beings. How would you treat well God you do not see if you cannot treat well people you see? If we will treat well those we meet, marriages will not go kaput; there will be no fights, and there will be no wars.

On most roads are signs like No Littering or No Dumping. Each of us has their own waste but don’t dump them in the street. Why do some people carry their bad manners into the public? Yes, like your friend! You know who I am talking about.

One day, I sat in a restaurant and overheard a customer berate a hostess for poor service for almost 5 minutes; she was not giving her much attention. Bring this, take this back, remove this vegetable and bring that. Why didn’t you stay in your house to cook if you knew how to cook that well ? You are here berating the poor kid for nothing. Perhaps for the little tip you intend to give; worst still she did not leave any tip. I doubled our tip for the kid. Keep your intractable manners in your toilet, for everyone has them, but the civilized ones keep theirs in a Pandora box until you stubbornly open it.

Each of these roads requires a different level of consideration. So which road of life are you driving on? Each of these roads has speed limits, but many people do not respect them, and they end up in a ditch. If you live on 1000 miles per hour: suck on every straw you find and swim in every swimming pool you can afford, you may end up wrecking your life with STDs and a lot of emotional hurts. If you drink every bottle you find and snuff every powder you meet, your beloved will soon pen your elegy.

Ok now you have left the highway, and you are in the street. Here it really gets interesting. Some people see a Do Not Enter sign which means do not enter a restricted road but still enter . This always causes great hurt! When a woman is married, it means you should leave her alone. You are prohibited from penetrating that road again for life! Why do you know he is a player, yet you still believe in his thaumaturgy? You still let him to wheedle his way into your life. What Do-Not- Enter sign again do you want my dear?

Or perhaps you see a Dead End sign, and you still drive until you meet the dead end. Stop taking your life into dead ends. How do you marry a eunuch, and you want him to give you babies? Is he going to harvest them from the farm or buy them from the store? Once you see that a relationship is going no where please, make a U-Turn. But again remember you do not make U-Turns everywhere. Like some people who break up their relationships over the phone or like a guy who divorced the wife by just running away from the house to another country.

Ding Dang Dolor ran away leaving everything he bought; never took even a dime from their account. He just wanted to leave the past behind and face the new future. If you are going for a lady like that you should look well at the winding sign. It tells you that road is not straight; there is danger on it. My sister, I know that women run away, but if a man ran away from you in this manner, then we have to consult some divine oracles. Your case could be very sad; skullduggery does not need experience to figure out.

Many people have been killed because they did not respect the Railway Crossing. You see, it is good to fight but not every battle is worth the fight. Select your battles because after some shocks, you will never recover. When a train hits you or your car, even if you survive, you will never be the same; either you will be on life support, or you will be like a hobbledehoy.

The Four Way Stop sign is for you to look on those three other directions. Many people are only unidirectional, and some drive like monoblepsists. Because we are different that is why we will always see things differently. Do it my way or no way they insist. I have not understood why some people get angry when someone disagrees with them. People will never mimic your thought pattern so just get over it.

When you reach your destination, check well how you park. Learn to stay within your limits. The problem today is how lawyers want to be teachers, and teachers want to be dancers. People should learn their limits and learn to respect the space of others. I don’t mean that you commit abortion, and I pay for your evil. It simply means that I recognize you are morally bankrupt, and I do not make you an enemy. Until we become God, we must consider the morally handicapped in our society.

Have you reached a Dead End in your life? Do you think the road to life is going nowhere? Do you realize keeping the same high speed in life will soon make you history? Failure to heed to the road signs has led many to miserable ports and ennuis. While your conscience: the only police to check the highway of life does not issue citations, there is a maelstrom that blows away the defaulters into unhappy endings. Many have passed their exits due to failure to follow the road signs. Isn’t there a reason you keep passing your exit to life’s Joy? You may never reach your destination. The road signs of life are your true protection. Will you do that?

Until then, God bless you.

'The false Belief of Perfect vaginas, Perfect Breasts and Large Penis'

Although it is a taboo to talk about the vagina amongst Africans, but when their men hear about the vagina, they become very alert. Perhaps it is proper to say that when men in general hear about the vagina, their ears stand like those of a rabbit. Yes, very very alert that they pick the sound a thousand miles away! That is why they say in Pidgin, “waka for mbombo nodi far” (the journey for a vagina is never too far). If a man wants it from a lady, he can do anything, and  ten thousand miles will become one mile to him. You smile; don’t you? That is the hypocrisy about the whole thing. As mores are dwindling, we see strip clubs germinating, and now we see African men watching porn. Yesteryears, their men did not watch porn, not because they were too holy but because they feared they would be cursed. It is still generally believed that looking at the vagina of a strange woman will fetch you a curse. I presume that 3/4 of western men are cursed. Today, they talk about it up to the point where we hear about perfect vagina. Please, lend me your indulgence to delve into such a sacred organ that warrants a prosodic rather than a prosaic language. I want to debunk the theory of a perfect Vagina, big breasts and large penises.
The vagina is like water; any legal one would quench a fire. Hear me again well; I said, "legal one."When I lectured a lady about it, she was curious how I knew it. I read and ask women too because I want to help people like you. Ladies, this could be a very important day of your life reading this. If the suggestions work for you, make  me a donation.

Anyone; not to talk of being an African who talks about the vagina could be considered prurient. Until the 21st Century, African men did not freely watch strip teasing or porn; not because they were holier, but because they believed it had a nexus with anathema. As an African, I should not be talking about the vagina since it is a taboo subject as evinced in Zambia. As you know, it is not only in Zambia but also in most African countries that the vagina is used to place imprecations on wayward men. The Takumbengs in the Northwest Province of Cameroon are an example and also in the Southwest Province, it is believed that when the women wash their vaginas, throw the water and you cross it, you will be cursed. Thus, many African men grew up not looking at the vagina because therein lies their Bete Noire. In the West albeit, the men and women pay peepholes sessions and go to the strip clubs, but in Africa, people run for cover for fear of being cursed, if they saw it. Lord have mercy! Two opposing cultures. I don't know which one to choose.

It is difficult to believe that a woman will do surgery to have a perfect vagina. There is no such thing as perfect vagina. Back in the days, women used to do all to make their vaginas too dry because men did not like when you got too wet. When the vagina was too dry, it instead inflicted pain on the woman than joy because the tighter and drier the vagina, the more pain the woman undergoes; thus, defeating the purpose for which the couple was having sex, for sex was meant for joy and to reinforce the bond in blood sexually administered called marriage.

Then came a time when women were hot about shaving everything, including their pubic hair. Shaving too did not go without issues. Many women realized that they had a lot of bumps and rashes and then breakouts which could make them easily pick up a disease, so rather than a perfect vagina, they got an unhealthy vagina. The presence of the public hair, the extra lips, and flapping of the vagina provide a natural beauty and attraction so don't shave if it gives you bumps and breakouts. More so, the men consider a woman who does not shave her armpit nasty, but they themselves do not shave theirs either. I keep telling western women that they are still in bondage, but they seem not to believe me. Their breasts are indecent to be shown in public, but the men can walk bare-chested. The men always want to tell women what is good for them. Women, you should grow your hair if you like; there is nothing nasty about your vagina or breasts having hair.

The idea of shaving is to continue with the zeitgeist of societal perfection where everything must be perfect. Listen to me: there is no perfect vagina or penis. Each of them produces odor, and each of them gets sick if not properly cared for. What good would it make to shave everything but be breeding ground for STDs and even a source of cancer ? The vagina should be left in its natural state, especially because modernism is not superior to rusticism; after all, they all have their advantages and disadvantages.

There has not been any scientific evidence that shaving pubic hair increases satisfaction. Rather, many have suggested it is merely cleaner and attractive. As with any hair, it is always nice to trim it to make it look beautiful. Here is the thing; an unhealthy vagina even if bald for life would be a curse to an unshaved healthy one. Men have always argued that the lack of hair will erase the distraction. Rather, the presence of the hair gives you something to play around for a long time, thereby increasing the woman’s happiness. Some women have suggested they preferred shaved men not because of anything but just that it is nice to see it.

When you start to have odors of sex, even when you have not had sex or foul odors down there, there could be a variety of reasons ranging from birth residues, yeast infection, birth control pills, chemical imbalance and alright improper hygiene. Nonetheless, there is a simple solution. While you can either take liquid chlorophyll (orally), you should eat food stuff that detoxify like garlic, cilantro and citrus fruits like lime and lemon. Some of you women like to exaggerate, so you not go and start chewing garlic and cilantro like men chew tobacco and when they ask you, you say Hamilton said it. This is not medical advice  either! If your odor ensues from hygiene or birth, you should take baths with hydrogen peroxide as this eliminates body odor, anyway. Commercial douches are not really healthy for you as they contain a lot of chemicals. If your odor is from chemical imbalance, you can take probiotic colon pills sold as dietary supplements. Sometimes target carries the 30 capsules in a green and white box for $9.99 in the fiber section with vitamins which is taken orally or you buy the femdophilus which you insert as a suppository overnight. Note that clothing that makes you sweat a lot in between your legs will cause odor too. Therefore, you should give it breathing space. That is why some stars walk without underwear to be ready for their debauchery and unfortunately flash the paparazzi because they wanted to always be fresh down there.

The genitals produce a certain odor that pubic hair helps to curb. The absence therefore, leaves you expose indeed. Some men have told me it makes them look bigger. True that some men have little penises like peanuts but again there has not been any scientific proof that size increases satisfaction, especially because the clitoris that produces more satisfaction does not need a brutal or heavy force. So what good is the casingo (heavy log)? Remember again there has not been any scientific study that a large penis gives more orgasm than a little penis. I know that some men really have some mingili (very little) penis just like peanut. They have to flatter men that they have a large penis;otherwise, They will be depressed. poor babies! Perhaps, I should go to the penis too. There is no prefect penis out there.

Some men have been known to look for solutions to their small bangala (penis) because it is mingili (too small). To those I say this: be encouraged; size does not matter but how you do it. Big bangalas instead hurt the woman than make her feel good. Ask them; don’t take my word for it. They are the ones wearing the shoes, so they are the ones who know where it is pinching them. By the way, if you have erectile dysfunction, give me a personal call; you may be reactivated. Do not make yourself a sancho or a cuckold! Men always talk about the breasts too.

Some women did not find joy with their breasts, so they went to do surgery. The outcome has been disastrous. In Africa, women did a lot of breast ironing because they believed that it made their breasts strong and firm. I think it was the opposite since it could damage the tissues of the breast just like using any hot object on any part of the body. At a given time, the breasts must sag and become flat. The Second Law of Thermodynamics or The Law of Entropy assures us that. No matter how you keep your breasts, they will still sag. Think about it, when you do breasts surgery today for a man and he dumps you, then the next guy you find wants small breasts, so would you go under the knife again? Finally, you will have to move into the basement of the plastic surgeon because you will need many of those surgeries since of you date a new man every year or every other year. Some even date every other month.

Therefore, stop butchering yourself, cutting off parts of your body and putting yourself under such high torment and high stress just for what people think about you. Yours beasts, vagina and penis are just fine the way they are. If a man or woman does not like you the way you are, then they were not for you in the first place. Listen to me; plastic surgery may create a seemingly perfect vagina, breasts or penis, but it neither makes you healthier nor happier in the long run. The side effects outweigh the short term benefits.

Until then, be proud of the way God made you.

Should The Military Deploy a soldier Mom With An Infant Child?

On July 14th, 2009, Rachel Weiner wrote in The Huffington Post about Stefan Frederick Cook : an army reservist who signed up for active duty but refused to be deployed because he thinks that President Obama should not have been the president in the first place. This is a man who volunteered for a tour in May, but in July he had a problem obeying the chief of staff. Wonders shall never end! His protest recruited 170 more soldiers who were ready to reject deployment to protest the president’s citizenship .

On Friday, November 13th, 2009, Truthout published an article written by Dahr Jamail about a US Army specialist: Alexis Hutchinson; a single mother who was being threatened to be court-martialed if she did not follow her deployment orders . Her reason for refusing the orders is that she has an 11 year old baby and lacks anyone to keep her child. Her case raised two issues in the society: the absence of good family structures, and the absence thereof of equity in the military.

It would be strange to hear that she could not find someone to keep her child, but that actually could happen when we consider that most people are growing up nowadays without knowing their relatives, with the exception of their parents. Even those who have siblings have very bad relationships with them, and some do not have friends at all.

The second thing is that the military in most cases lacks equity in the application of its jurisprudence. One would think that every father or mother making the decision about a soldier’s deployment would automatically consider a woman with an 11 month old infant out of his deployment calendar. Oh no, it is soldier number this should be deployed this time. Human beings are mere numbers to the military; thus rupturing the bond that exists between mother and child.

There is some talk now about Hutchinson facing military court martial . At times the call of duty may beckon for a temporal rupture. There is nothing bad in this because before she joined the army, she read all the contours on deployment and deserters. It is like a teacher who complains of low salary, or a doctor who complains of smelling patients. The teacher knew the salary cap before going in, and the doctor knew that most sick people do stink. She knew very well about the army deployment rules before she joined the military.

We should not encourage people to abuse the system. The army’s main job is to fight wars to defend home and foreign interests. Therefore, when an individual is joining the army, he/she should be ready to fight. There should be no sympathy for those who join the army on their own volition and then reject the assignments of the army as if it was facultative. That is wrong: it is unethical and it is exploitative. Most female soldiers have been known to get pregnant to avoid a deployment, and men have been known to shoot themselves as an accident to return home from the war front. These tactics are no more new, they are real.

However, there are issues too with deploying unwilling soldiers. They go to the front and bring the morale of the others down. They do most of the assignments wrongly and when they come back they are a timed bomb to explode with internal anger against not only those who made them monsters but even the innocent. In the Old Testament, there were soldiers who were exempted for deployment; those who had projects and new ventures, the newly wed and the fearful and fainthearted (Deut 20: 5-9; Jud 7:3). During this time, women did not fight a war, and had it been they did the issue of child birth would have been considered. The worst soldier is that fearful and fainthearted because he will contaminate the rest of the soldiers with fear. The military may want to consider going with first a few willing until there is lack thereof before forcing soldiers.

Nevertheless, It should be noted that the military still has room for conscientious objectors: soldier who refused to fight a war due to religious, ethical or moral grounds. However, if you do not want to be deployed, you should not join the army in the first place.

Until then, if she serves her deployment her charges should be dropped.

Urgent: Anger Management and Tolerance Classes Needed.

As you watched Serena Williams throw her tantrums , Kanye West showcase his incivility , Joe Wilson disrespect the very institution of the presidency with “you lie” , and the boisterous Townhall meetings, one easily paints the caricature of spoiled children . Yes, indeed so spoiled that they think the world revolves around them. It is a show of the intolerance that has bedeviled us as a society these days. We have forgotten to be patient or to listen to the other person, and to realize that in so far as we see as through a dark glass, our opinions will always differ. I sit sometimes and listen to someone voice their opinions for at least 30 minutes, but when I open my mouth, and say just a line they do not like, all hell breaks lose.

You see, there is nothing bad with protesting a call, but you do not do it by threatening the life of linesman. The world knows racism is still ingrained in America but there is a better way to protest that Beyonce merited the awards and not Taylor Swift. After all, why make Taylor Swift pay for the broken pieces of the MTV organizers? It is of prime importance to protest against the health reform Bill especially if it will provide health care to illegal immigrants, but there is a better way to wait for your turn and make your point.

Time and time again I have sat in meetings and gatherings with most Americans; they do not discuss politics, sports or religion at work; not even within educational circles, because they fear to cross on people’s toes. The Truth can be inconvenient, impolite and painful . When a simple argument ensues they tell you they don’t want to talk about it. I have always said that violence is the weapon of weak communicators. How can educators shy away from religious, sports or political debates? Where else again will they discuss issues? How will the children learn that it is good to listen to dissent? Kids are trained to function in unilateral decision making skills rather than consensus which shows up when they grow and integrate the society. Intolerance is also why relationships easily go kaput. People cannot discuss, and they think a rejection of their idea is a rejection of their person. So they take it very personal.

Perhaps I should demonstrate with some news that shook the country. On September 21st 2009, a man was “charged with scalding his girlfriend's 1-year-old son” because the child used the floor as his bidet . A finger or a simple rebuke would have done the magic, but due to anger he wanted to skin the boy alive with hot water as if the little man was a pig or goat whose hair needed to be removed.

On September 28, 2009, An 85 year old man with a BB Gun went to the police station to threaten the police for issuing him a $250 ticket for illegally parking on a handicap spot . Why don’t you wait for you day in court if you are so angry about the ticket? No one is happy with those tickets especially seeing how corrupt the police is becoming these days.

A cop had stopped us for speeding 98 miles on a 55 mile per hour road. My co-driver was angry because he knew the police was lying. In my usual fashion I was very poised and calm. He took my license and went with it. In his second visit, I informed him that the truck was a Rider truck, and it does not go above 75m/hr, and that he was free to take it and drive it. He told us “then it was the wrong car”. He let us go. It is not the first time I was hearing such a blatant lie but I still spoke nicely to him with the hope of meeting him in court. I do not make him an enemy for his opinion.

On October 1st, 2009, “Six people were charged with mob action “for yanking an Olympic banner from the Daley Center's Picasso statue and tossing it into the "eternal" flame” . One can still express their opinion without destroying property. On October 5th, 2009, a Wisconsin woman lured his unfaithful lover into a motel where she glued him and his penis on a chair . If you do not want an unfaithful man the solution is to leave the man alone. You are not the law and so cannot take it into your own hands.

Carrie Prejean showed again what an underdeveloped mind could do . We have not been taught to intellectually defend our positions without adhominems or getting mad. You are asked a question; just answer the simple question with a sarcasm or understatement. That is when you can bear the message of “Still Standing”. Instead, she gets up in frustration, and walked out of an interview exposing her intolerance and ignorance.

Anger made Esau to plot the death of Jacob (Gen 27: 41. Many have uttered things they wished they never said and have done acts they felt should not have committed. The tongue could set fire on the human body but it could also set fire in a human life (Jas 3:6). Children should not be disciplined out of anger (Eph 6:4). Teachers should not write students up when they are angry. Finally we should avoid making people who tell us the truth our enemies (Gal 4: 16).

Until then, learn to control your anger.

Camara Moussa Dadis: The Man the French Hate

It is really strange to hear that the European Union has imposed sanctions on the leaders of Guinea. The sanctions will include a visa embargo and a request to freeze Camara Dadis’ bank accounts in the Schengen countries because he authorized the killing of some protesters. Make no mistake, it is unethical to kill protesters just for protesting. I extend my condolence to their families and friends, and do hope that their blood was not spilled in vain. Dadis Camara did expressed deep regrets for the loss of human lives.

However, this is where no sane African country should support those sanctions. The human rights and transparency reports have painted a gloomier picture of Cameroon, Gabon, Congo, Equatorial Guinea but no sanctions were taken. Reread this excerpt on Congo Brazzaville and tell me if sanctions were taken.

No sanctions were taken because these are all French puppets who saunter into France and Europe to hide their stolen money and enjoy infrastructures they have failed to provide for their people. Like Dadis rightly said it; France is an albatross on Africa, and indeed even a misfortune to the Africans.

One thing one can learn from Camara Dadis is that he is transparent. He has told the world he does not have another bank account elsewhere apart from his home country of Guinea. How many African presidents have their bank accounts only in their country?

The West rather than impose sanctions and visa freeze on people like Dadis and Mugabe simply because they disagree with them, they should go after tyrants who have embezzled and plundered their countries into an insurmountable abyss.
African presidents have the tendency to run to Europe for treatment while they abandon their destitute citizens to die of treatable diseases at home simply because of lack of infrastructures. They should be asked to improve their own hospitals back at home so that they can be treated there.

Those who are fighting for Dadis departure are more corrupt, worst killers, and murderers than him. The opposition sends their children abroad but invites the children of the poor to fight for them. Why don’t their own kids champion their cause if it was so great? If Dadis leaves today, it will plunge Guinea into a precarious and troubling state. Indeed if the old guards are made to come back it will not be different from putting new wine into old wineskins or even putting old wine into old wineskins. Just like it will merely make the old wineskins to explode, Guinea will explode too. No one would remain blind to the killings that took place in Uganda and Kenya.

Sometimes there is need for the Corrupt Bargain but in Guinea right now even that is lacking because there is nothing to bargain about. In a situation like this people should rather be happy having individuals like Dadis rather than curse him for a peccadillo. Due to Corruption many Africans are dying more than those shot during a protest. Corruption has engendered poor health and reduced the life span of many due to wretched living.

Critics say Dadis should be diplomatic at least. Killing in whatever form is evil and should not be condoned. Others say that he does not use tack because he speaks sincerely and honestly. Actually Dadis is making more sacrifice than is necessary. He studied in Germany, spent his time in the military, and went back home to serve his country. There are many flibbertigibbets who are mere economic migrants prescribing rodomontades on worldwide web. Others say he does not speak good French. A language does not develop a country; reforms do. A good leader must not necessary be a linguist. Already he is delivering by sending corrupt Guineans into hiding. That alone is great hope for others to look into the future with hope and anticipation.

Until then, Dadis has what many African presidents do not have.

How Dangerous is Voodoo? Part 2

Thank you so much for your reply. When I first read your story I fell so bad because I have had the same situation in my family and seen good friends lose their marriages to witchcraft or some other machinations. Whether you believe in witchcraft or not, there is no secret that the behavior of many leaves little doubt that they have been bewitched. Whether you believe in witchcraft or not at least we do share a common belief that some evil force snatches people’s spouses away.

My late oldest sister was a beautiful girl, popular in school, and a great athlete. Unfortunately, she dropped out of school and eloped with a man. They went their own world and the sky we thought was their limit. Then calamity struck after their first son. Her late husband fell in love with a woman. According to later revelations, she had kept a (juju) voodoo pot under the bed that bewitched my brother in law. He began maltreating my sister and beating her time and again. In futile efforts, we tried to intervene, but it seemed our sister was still into him. She would tell us “he is not a bad person; I think something was happening to him”. We tried to use our influence to frighten him, but the violence instead increased. We were frightened we would lose our sister into his infidelity and asked her to divorce him as permitted by the Bible. We paid her rents for one year and gave her money for business. But immediately as he appeared and knelt down, like a beetle she jumped on his back and together they flew away to a new set of torments. Not once, not twice this melodrama reenacted itself time and time again like a mime to a deaf audience.

During this time, the husband snatcher was now the number one, and my sister was the number two. My closely knitted family could not understand why a beautiful girl would be dying for the guy. They say blood is thicker than water, but I could perceive love is thicker than blood because she listened to him more than us. At long last, my sister ended up with STDs that we had to spend money to heal her. She finally passed away, and we took over the son who has lived with us and is now a man. Now, that was one story perhaps that had no headway, but at least it shows you the power of voodoo.

Perhaps I should show you another story where Jesus overran voodoo aground. One of our sisters in Christ had fallen in love with a charming guy that every woman would like to fall in love. He was rich, handsome and sexy. Not too long they got married, he became the scramble of young women. Every woman wanted a piece of him and sadly, he had no moeurs too. So he met a woman who wanted him wholesale rather than retail him with others. She cast a spell on him; he fell in love with her, and lost all love for the wife. He began abusing the wife. As usual, physical and verbal violence ensued. He sought for ways to divorce her but did not see, so he colluded with a guy to accuse her of infidelity.

Heaven knows she was a very faithful woman who kept her legs closed to only the man she had entered into the bond-in-blood covenant she sexually administered. Cunningly he stole her own key of the house and threw it into River Wouri. Then he accused her for passing the house key to her Njumba-Sancho (cuckold partner). Remember keys could not be duplicated, and once you lost your key you could either just start using the only remaining key or you broke the lock and bought a new one.

Surely, you know this man would not allow the woman to put a new lock. He drove her away, and asked her to only return if she found the key. She cried at dusk and cried at dawn. She cried silently and cried aloud. Some mocked at her and others pitied her. Life was now bleak and bitter. Marriage that was supposed to be a terrestrial bliss and felicity became an earthly nightmare that even shadows of men frightened her.

There was a fisherman who fellowshipped in her church; a man who practiced practical Christianity, and lived for the Lord. He thought daily of the oppressed, fatherless and widows. After every catch, he selected one person to whom he offered a gift. Then one day, he caught the fish that will decide our sister’s marriage and the faith of many. He took the biggest of the fish and brought it as a gift to the sister. She broke open the belly and inside with the entrails laid a key that looked similar to that of her house. She took it, ran to her husband’s house (who has driven her out of the house to only come back if she found the key back). She tried the key and behold it worked, and she opened the door. She entered and sat in until he came. When he came, she revealed the oracle to him, and knowing he threw the key into River Wouri, he gave his life to Christ. Now he knows you cannot kick against the goads. Now she became number one again fearing no competition. The evil witch was sent packing to face her solitude.

Mary, are you looking for a key that would open the doors of happiness for you? Look unto Jesus: the author and finisher of our Joy. I say look unto Jesus: for he coverts sour marriages into sweet marriages. Don’t feel discouraged when you look at many Christian marriages falling apart. There are many explanations. This God we serve does not pay the innocent in guilty coins. Life and nature too have always kept that law. Many have and keep experiencing very bad marriages and relationships because they start by breaking their trust in Jesus. If women will keep their legs closed, and the men hold their third legs tight until marriage, though their marriages or relationships will not be perfect, they will be well; joy and happiness will be their portion.

Listen: but while you look unto the future with hope and anticipation, you must move forward. You must try to make the bygones bygones, and the hopeless marriage history. If he is yours no matter how he strays, he will come back, but if he was a happenstance and a product of chance, like a wind though it robs its dust around you, you will never catch it. Nevertheless, please you should just don’t loose hope in life. Life is worth more than just living for one person.

Until then, keep praying for such a husband of tears will never get lost.
