Is The Catholic Church Anti Bible With Her Celibacy Doctrine?

“Is it safe to assume that the letters of the Bible as written below are not being followed by the Catholic Church that insists on priests being celibate”?
There are three types of eunuchs: natural eunuchs: (2Ki 20:18; Is. 39:7 ), man-made eunuchs ((Jer 34: 19).) and self-made eunuchs (Jer 29:2 ). Natural eunuchs were men who lost their manhood. Thus they were men who became impotent with time. Man-made eunuchs were those who were castrated because they were either slaves or people who served in the king’s court for fear they test the theobroma cacao of the queen in the absence of the king. So they were arbitrarily castrated without their consent. Self-made eunuchs were those who refused to use their pestles so they can fulfill a noble task (Jer 29:2 ). Remember that they have decided not to grind the mortar but it does not mean it is broken. The catholic priests fall in the third category. Their pacemakers function properly but they have decided to package it on God’s shelf and go to war with the devil. At times they are tempted to make peace with the parishioners when they grow weak.

Jesus says that if anyone thinks they can fulfill that calling (to be a eunuch), they should do it (Mat 19: 12). Thus Jesus gives the green light.

The eunuchs in the Mosaic period had a special role in the society: court and army. Those who decided to become eunuchs obtained a great name as a reward from the Lord (Is 56:3-5). Most armies were led by eunuchs (Jer 52: 25; Acts 8:27) because they demonstrated total dedication and loyalty (2 Kings 9:32; Jer 38:7-8; Dan 1:7-11).

The Catholic Church did not force any priest to take the celibacy vow; the individual did that on his own volition. Thus, though the Catholic Church practices celibacy, the priests and sisters take the vow facultatively. If the people refuse to take the vow then the Catholic Church will be forced to rescind the practice. Before anyone knocked at the Parish door to become a priest or sister, they were aware it warrants celibacy unlike the pastors who are authorized to grind and suck. We do acknowledge that whoever eats theobroma cacao faces the cocoa diseases too. That is why you hear about all the sexual scandals in parishes and churches today.

I Cor 7:28 reads: “But and if thou marry, thou hast not sinned; and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned. Nevertheless such shall have trouble in the flesh: but I spare you”. Paul reiterated that celibacy will give the celibate more time for God’s work than the married. The contributions of the Benedictine and Augustinian monks are a testament.

Consequently, there is nothing wrong with the vow of celibacy since through the remnant of non celibate, people could still multiply and replenish the earth. It is only problematic when a priest or sister starts to steal the food of non celibates. That is called hypocrisy, and Jesus had almost a whole chapter dedicated to them (Mt 23). It is only bad if you take the vow but cannot live to it (I Cor 7:27). One sad example was Father John of Nguti in the 80s. He had girlfriends and metises littered around as if that was why he came there. That is the moral bankruptcy rather than he or she being a eunuch. When anyone says she is a Sister but wants to suck ambrosia from the human straw, she is actually like a thief or armed robber. But if anyone refused to marry and wants to stay eunuch so that they can accomplish the opus Dei better, then they should actually be lauded.

Until then, the Catholic Church is right to practice the celibacy vow.
